The Faculty of Informatics at the University of Vienna celebrated its 50-year anniversary of the informatics program and its own 20th anniversary on October 4, 2024, with a grand event in the university's Great Hall. Featuring keynote speeches from renowned scholars Yvonne Rogers (UCL) and Daniel A. Reed (University of Utah, Microsoft), the event marked a memorable milestone for the faculty, bringing together faculty, students, and alumni in celebration of its legacy and future in informatics education.
